2012 Analog Year (forget the Olympics)

So the year comes to an end and I have...gone back in time.

Yes, I have stepped into my time machine and will now be discovering film photography!

First, I was given a wonderful Polaroid "P" Silver.

"Polaroid???" I hear you say. Yes Polaroid, that stuff that takes instant photos like your parents may have used in the 70's and 80's.

I love it. Got myself 4 packs of 8 photos, and now have my brain in full creative mode to come up with an interesting project.

Here's the beast:

Then...I was given a limited edition "La Sardina" Lomography film camera.

Full of bling!

The whole point is that I want to learn all about photography and these 2 cameras are part of photography history.

It's also very frustrating with digital cameras that we shoot, and shoot, and shoot and never think enough.

I want the surprise, not knowing what the result will be until I develop the film. I also want to prove in a way that I can produce good shots with very basic technology.

Voila... I hope to bring you the results very soon, well as soon a s I can figure out where to load that film!

Now go visit my website! www.nicholasgooddenphotography.co.uk

Merry Christmas everyone!
