Self-Portrait Photography

Yesterday I bought a great book called "Self-Portrait Photography" by Natalie Dybisz aka Miss Aniela (she can be found easily on Flickr and Twitter).

I have shot a few self-portraits in the past but I guess it's not a subject that is easy to say the least.

One of the key difficulties is simply to have the courage to look stupid for a little time until you manage to shoot a good image. It's a bit embarrassing, and then even worse when you decide to post it on a blog or websites like Flickr and the rest.

But self-portraits have always existed with painters, sculptors, photographers, etc...

Here are some attempts I have made in the past. As I like to explore all sides of photography it was natural for me to try it.

That's it for today, I hope at least that I can inspire others to try it.
